The BTS-1 is a precision tool system that provides a controlled means of tapping the threads in the bottom bracket shell of a frame. After thread cutting, the taps serve as a guide to hold the supplied face mill perfectly perpendicular to the axis of the bottom bracket so that the front sides of the bottom bracket shell can be cleaned.
